Radlab Art Studio is a couple-run, artist-run merch shop. Our art is fueled by life and all the nerdy things that make us happy. Our tiny shop offers a variety of original and fanart goods that bring us joy. Our love for art and pop culture helped give birth to our own original characters, the Gemlings. A cheerful, whimsical trio of friends, who each have their own personalities and quirks!
RADLAB’s adventure began in 2018, when we were running children’s art tables at local events. What started as a way to share creativity with kids slowly turned into something more—a spark that grew into a full-blown passion project.
We began by selling art prints, then expanded into charms, button pins, and other fun goods inspired by the nerdy things that bring us joy. As more people discovered our work, we saw how our art helped others reconnect with their inner child—and how powerful a little bit of whimsy could be.
In 2025, Angelica made the leap to take RADLAB full-time. Now, our shop is more than just merch—it’s a celebration of playful expression, fan love, and the magic of being unapologetically yourself.
Through our products and our quirky mascots, the Gemlings, we aim to bring joy to everyday life. Because happiness should be loud, colorful, and proudly worn on your sleeve.
RADLAB brings together two ideas in one playful name. "RAD" is a simple blend of our names—Rosenberg, Angelica, and David—while "LAB" carries a double meaning that’s close to our hearts.
First, it’s a nod to the way “love” is often pronounced with a thick Filipino accent—a sweet inside joke that reflects Angelica's cultural roots. Second, it calls to mind the spirit of a laboratory: a place full of creativity, experimentation, and discovery.
Together, RADLAB is our shared space to explore, create, and celebrate the things we love through art. It’s part passion, part play, and entirely us.
The creative octopus behind RADLAB’s creative whirlwind! With a love for all things kawaii and a soft spot for the wonderfully weird, she brings imagination to life. The Gemlings were born from her wish to have adorable little golem buddies to draw and share with the world.
He’s always been an artist. As a lover of video game, comic books, and a huge Pokemon nerd, David has never let go of his inner child and his love for nerdy things reflects in his art. He brought the Gemlings to life with his designs.
